Keeping Up With The Kardashians

Okay, I know I know, "Reality TV"? I loved Keeping Up With The Kardashians. Maybe they should call it "Out of Reality TV", because you can step out of your own for a little while and watch something unlike your own, which can sometimes be good for you. Try it out, season 2 starts September 22. Can't wait to see the next season girls!

I'm all about the look of organic elements lately. If I look back it's represented in the art, clothes, and decorating pics I've posted lately. Call me nature girl, but I love the colors and accessories used in this Pottery Barn dining room. If you like decorating as much as I do check out Pottery Barns website. Even if you can't afford the actual merchandise you can get a lot of creative ideas with the interactive software and planning guides.

Featured Artist

I saw one of Rachel Salomon's pieces on a favorite blog of mine. I really love her work...it's simple but very elegantly organic (if that makes sense), it makes me want to try out painting again. She uses mostly a mixture of acrylic and pen to create her work and does a variation of editorial, book, and media design.

Master Bathroom Design

This bathroom is soooooo beautiful. I love the way the white tub and sink stand out against all the earth tones. If I had this bathroom I would even buy the flowers to put in tub every time I took a bath. This bathroom design was done by Candice Olsen...one of my favorite interior designers from HGTV.

Love This Look

If I was to define my style as of right now I guess this would be it. A little baby doll top...nothing fitted yet, flare jeans...I just can't seem to get over this style now matter how cool the skinny jeans look on celebrities, and accessories can be creative to give balance to a simple outfit. I thought writing about clothes might keep out malls..ya know. Anyways I pulled this pic from www.freepeople.com. Which by the way is one of the best online stores I've ever been to. As a designer I can appreciate the the look of it, but also having been the project manager for our online store I can also appreciate the technical aspects of the site.
